Boarding

Brookside Animal Hospital Boarding Policies

All animals will be given a physical exam by a Technician which is included in the boarding fee. Any animal found to have internal parasites (worms) will be dewormed at the owner's expense.

All dogs will be walked a minimum of 3 times daily.

All animals will receive a bath the day they are scheduled to go home. This is an additional charge to the boarding fee. Any animals found to have fleas or ticks upon admission with be bathed upon arrival in addition to the discharge bath, and given a Capstar flea control for fleas and/or a flea & tick prevention at the owner's expense.

All dogs are required to have current Rabies and DHPP vaccinations, as well as an intestinal parasite exam (every 6 months) and Bordetella (every 6 months). All cats are required to have current Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, as well as an intestinal parasite exam.

All required vaccinations will be given at the owner's expense to all pets overdue for required vaccinations/tests.

This includes monitoring your pet while here and giving your insulin at required intervals.

Bath charges apply as above.

Puppies ( 6 months and under)

This includes at least 6 walks daily as well as at least 20 minutes of puppy play time daily.

The bath will be charged according to weight.

Guaranteed Run:

If a run is available and you would like to guarantee this space for your dog, the charge will be

$34.00/nt for dogs 7 months - 7 years, and $38.50/nt for dogs 8 years of age and older.

The bath will be charged according to weight.

Optional Services available at an additional charge:

Extra Walks: $1.50 per walk

Daily Pet Treats: $.75 per 2 treats provided by us (there is no charge if provided by client)

Medication Administration: $3.00 per administration
