Glenn Kalick, D.V.M.


Dr. Glenn Kalick attended the University of Massachusetts where he majored in Zoology.  He received a D.V.M. degree from Tufts University in 1995 and has practiced veterinary medicine ever since.  Dr. Kalick worked at area veterinary hospitals for 5 years, but never stopped dreaming about owning his own hospital, where he could provide his patients with the best veterinary care.  That dream came true in August of 1999, when Brookside Animal Hospital opened it's doors for the very first time.  Thanks to you - our clients and furry patients - we are making that dream happen.

 













Erin Leff, D.V.M, C.V.A.


 

Dr. Leff is a native of Miami, Florida. She grew up with a strong equestrian background, and always assumed that a career in Equine Veterinary Medicine was in her future. While attending the University of Maryland (1988-1992) , she was the captain of the University of Maryland Equestrian Team, and rode for a sidesaddle stable in Virginia.
After graduation from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, she completed a Small Animal Medicine Internship. In 2001, she completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) curriculum and soon after fulfilled the requirements to become a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist integrating Traditional Chinese medicine into daily practice. She also has extensive training in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.   Dr. Leff has a passion for Papillons and has 3 of her own (Luc, Jett and EZ), as well as rescued Papillons Mr. Magoo and Jone'. She is very involved in canine sports (Agility, Obedience, Rally and Canine Freestyle) as well as Pet Therapy and Conformation Events. She loves to travel, with her favorite destinations so far being: Greece, Egypt, Ireland, China, Turkey and Russia.







 

Nelly Jehn, D.V.M.

 

Dr. Nelly Amador Jehn attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree. She received a D.V.M. degree from the University of Florida in 2005. Dr. Jehn loves the outdoors; hiking, running, mountain biking and the beach. She and her husband (also a Veterinarian) share their home with Luna, a Shepherd/Labrador mix, Blanca, a Labrador mix, Bella, a Labrador mix, Brad, a Boxer mix and their two cats named Nicolas Cage and Samuel Jackson (pictured at left). Dr. Jehn speaks Spanish, and has special interests in orthopedics, ophthalmology and dermatology.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 












 

 

Jessica Garcia, D.V.M.

 

Dr. Jessica Garcia is a native of Tampa. She moved to South Florida in 2009. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from University of Florida (Go GATORS!)   After graduating from Kansas State University with a D.V.M., she returned to Florida to practice. Dr. Garcia enjoys scuba diving, swimming, fishing and boating. She also enjoys traveling with her new husband and visiting her family in Tampa. Her furry children include: Odie a true Heinz 57 mutt, Maddie a black lab mix, and Cole a Russian Blue mix. Her veterinary interests include ophthalmology and internal medicine.
