Dr. Kate Cappe was born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii. She received a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine from California Polytechnic State University in 2010.
Dr. Cappe attended Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM in 2015. After graduation, Dr. Cappe moved to sunny south Florida and completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital. She has continued to work as an emergency and general practice veterinarian upon completion of the internship.
Dr. Cappe has two amazing Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Hank and Daphne and a sweet rescue kitty, Hugh Mungus. Dr. Cappe enjoys surfing, playing soccer, and riding her reining horse, Louie. Dr. Cappe's special interests in veterinary medicine include emergency care, nutrition, canine reproduction, and endoscopy.
